While competition may build the fastest rocket, it’s collaboration that takes it to the moon. That’s why Catalyst is thrilled to be welcoming cooperative record label and arts collective, Field Conspiracy, to planet Funkhaus from the 27th to the 30th of January to co-host a series of special events. From panel discussions to a radio takeover, these sessions will be open to the public and live streamed by our Etikett Radio student team. It’s all part of the official CTM Vorspiel 2022 programme – the celebrated city-wide festival of digital art, culture, experimental sound and music.
Boldly sharing our collaborative philosophy and passion for community, Field Conspiracy’s mission is to spark conversations that lead to the development of practical concepts for cooperative strategies in music label management. They understand that if we want to solve the economic and social problems that artists are currently facing, then we need to encourage creative minds to collectively reimagine and restructure the music industry.
“[Field Conspiracy] is a space for artists to inspire each other and work together in order to allow them to lead the life they want to live. Only through collaboration and cooperation can we manifest a reality where our management systems are defined by the interests of the community and, thus, provides everyone the space to be free in their creativity.”

Hack Your Code & Optimize Your Creativity
Thur 27th Jan, 19:00-21:00
With today’s busy lifestyles and high pressure environments it can be hard to find a balance and achieve what you want. Joined by Diana Perova, aka DJ Diana May and Daniel Guerin, an Irish born Dj, producer and biohacker, we'll discuss how getting into a flow state requires caring for the main pillars of life: Body, Mind and Spirit/Heart. Without checking a few critical boxes in each of these areas we will never find that magical place where things just seem to work and real momentum takes over.

Thrive, not Survive - From Individualism to Cooperatism

What are the greatest challenges of co-operative working models? How can NFTs be used as a tool for creating sustainable income to artists with the help of independent labels? From Individualism to Cooperatism is an interactive discussion on creating a paradigm shift within the music industry by restructuring working models of labels and collectives. Hosted by Paula Hakkaja aka Freya Algiz, we aim to shed some light on the challenges that we see as obstacles for social change within the creative industry.
