Continuity Editing Workshop: What are the rules, and when can we break them?
Wednesday 5 March, 11:00–13:30 CET

Led by Film Production tutor María Gisèle Royo, this workshop will take you through the basics of continuity editing and the principles and rules that guide seamless editing. We will learn about preserving "raccord" and the 180-degree rule, and then discover how to break it strategically to activate the viewers and captivate an audience. 

The session combines theory, practical examples and exercises to transform the way to approach cinematic space and audience engagement. We will discuss the art of visual coherence while pushing creative boundaries.
