Sasha Dorofeev

Sasha (aka abstraqt) is a multimedia artist and tutor on the VFX programme. In their practice, they explore what makes immersive multimedia environments feel coherent and organic. A growing part of sasha’s creative work and community organising engages with the themes of activism, resistance to fascism, and solidarity. In the first year of the VFX, sasha teaches an introductory module on generative art. In the second year, they offer a two-semester course on multimedia installations. sasha also facilitates a third-year course in which students reflect on their creative practice to find an authentic post-university direction.
