Dekel Nitzan

Dekel Nitzan is an Israeli writer and director based in Berlin. He is a Dean’s List graduate of the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University and an alumnus of the prestigious Berlinale Talents program. His award-winning short films have screened internationally.
He began his professional screenwriting career on KESHET 12’s hit crime drama LINE IN THE SAND (2021) and has since collaborated with multiple production companies on developing and writing Film and TV projects. In 2023, Dekel graduated from Serial Eyes, one of Europe’s leading television development programs. In 2024, Dekel was selected for an apprenticeship at the London-based production company "Big Light." There, he worked closely with acclaimed writer and producer Frank Spotnitz (The Man in the High Castle, The X-Files), participated in writers' room, and played an active role in the company's development team.
Currently, Dekel is co-creating and head-writing two funded TV projects for HOT Communications in Israel and Network Movie in Germany.
