Chiara Ruggiero

Chiara Ruggiero is a 2D & 3D Animator, Visual Effects Compositor, and Virtual Production Supervisor. She is a devoted artist focused on inspiring others to seek cinematic and chimerical beauty in the mundane aspects of life.

Since 2022, Chiara has been active in both the New York City and Los Angeles film circuits, working with Filmworks FX, CBS, NBC and Sony Pictures on productions such as Blue Bloods, The Calling, and Caught Stealing. On top of her career in VFX Compositing, Chiara has advocated in the future accessibility of virtual production in indie film, researching and developing virtual production pipelines that incorporate Unreal Engine and green screen while remaining inclusive for indie budgets.

As an animator and content creator, Chiara operates her own independent animation studio _alien_girl_design_. She creates unique, mixed media 2D cel animations and digital art content for various social media platforms, music artists, streamers, and filmmakers, and is currently in pre-production for her own original animated short series “Die Straße”.
