Psychology of Creativity

Charlie has a background in applied performance psychology, working in professional sport for 3 years as a youth team sports scientist and psychologist. He now works at a new leading interdisciplinary university in London, where he develops school curricula and teaches students about complexity, systems thinking, and how to tackle real-world problems by blending the arts and sciences. He is also the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter in a post-rock/shoegaze band. He is particularly interested in how people use creativity to make sense of their inner lives and the complex systems around them—and the ways this shapes how we think, feel, and act.
