Rõisín Brehony

Rõisín Brehony (they/them) is a newer recruit to the Acting faculty. They are an actor, singer, director and voice practitioner from Manchester, UK.

Rõisín performs and studies Shakespeare and has performed all over the world. Their most recent role, the title character in Macbeth, took them to the UK, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

Rõisín’s Irish and traveller heritage infuses them with a deep love of storytelling. Combined with a grounded, “lean‑in” coaching style, they aim to offer a boredom‑busting approach to sustainable voice training at Catalyst.
