Marla Xaviera

Marla Xaviera is an Ecuadorian actress and filmmaker based in Berlin. She began her acting career at 19, starring as Valentina in the feature film Agujero Negro, which premiered at the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema in 2018. Trained in theatre at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Argentina and in the Étienne Decroux Corporeal Mime Technique, she is now completing a BA in Screen Acting at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology.

Over the past decade, Marla has worked across theatre, film, television, and advertising. She recently wrapped production on her second feature film and will soon appear in the upcoming RTL+ series Softies. Fluent in Spanish and English, with basic German proficiency, Marla is also skilled in voice acting and bouldering. She quite enjoys the cold weather, milk chocolate bars with nothing in them, and musicals about murder.
