Bronwen Pattison

Acting

Bronwen Pattison is a trained circus artist who has spent the past ten years performing in Berlin and across the world. She teaches physical theater at Catalyst Berlin, as well as flexibility and contortion at studios and schools around the city, helping people discover the body’s potential for play, strength, and transformation.

She is fascinated by circus, dance, improvisation, the healing arts, and movement as therapy. Her studies in Expressive Art Therapy and Reiki, alongside recent training at the Somatic Academy Berlin, have deepened her understanding of how creative and somatic practices can support healing and personal growth. Inspired by blending different art forms, her personal style explores how performance can move between comedy, the human condition, and showing lightness alongside the dark.

Originally from New Zealand, Bronwen came to Berlin 13 years ago after working as a costume designer. Her love of theater evolved into a passion for circus arts, which she went on to study and perform across the globe. Since becoming a mother, she has focused more on teaching and on the expressive, transformative possibilities of physical theater.
