ETIC Algarve and Catalyst - Institute of Creative Arts & Technology in Berlin have created an exciting partnership opportunity for students who have completed their 2 year course in Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques. 

As a result of our partnership you are able to enter the final year of our programme and leave with a full bachelors degree (BA Hons) validated by the University of St Marks and St Johns in the UK.

Entry requirements

To apply you need to:

  • Successfully complete the first two years of your course in Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques at ETIC Algarve.
  • Provide an official transcript of your grades.
  • Complete our online application form including a letter of motivation of at least 300 words and a scan of your IELTS level 6 or equivalent English language certification.
  • If requested by our Admissions team you may need to provide a portfolio of your work and complete a final interview.

The most important prerequisite for attending any course at Catalyst is that you must be passionate about building and developing your skills as a practising electronic music artist, producer or performer.

Tuition fees

We like to be upfront about our fees so you can be sure about the cost of your studies before you start. But it's important to note that the tuition fees don’t include additional things like specific books or gear you need to complete the projects you work on.

We offer two ways to pay:

  • Single Payment Option: 1 instalment
  • Instalment Payment Option: 10 instalments

When to pay
The enrolment fee is due 2 weeks after you receive the offer letter. We request that the single payment be made immediately after receipt of the acceptance Letter - however you have until 3 weeks before the start of the course to submit the payment. The first instalment payment is due by 15th August and these payments will be charged on the same day of the month that you signed up on.
